Olivier Portrat has been the CEO of EFTTA (European Fishing Tackle Trade Association) from 2019 - 2024 and therewith represented the interests of the European angling industry at the EU in Brussels.

He cooperated with the European Commission & the European Parliament for the best possible future of recreational angling in Europe - a difficult task in times where recreational angling is more threatened than ever before.

For doing that, he took a holistic, environmentally friendly approach that serves animal welfare and therefore human welfare.
